The available software tools for downloading are the following:
The
configuration software: This is a Windows based
application that is used for setting up the low level hardware of the
DS600 board and it exchanges messages through TCP/IP sockets.
You can download
the above application if you want to check and evaluate the DS600
system.
The H.264 streaming player for Windows: INOS uses standard open source software for playing the H.264 video streams. As part of our work was the porting of the ffmpeg multimedia system to the Windows platform. Click here to download the Windows based application along with guidelines on how to run the software. In addition, the source code of the developed software (including the code for the TCP streaming) is available through the INOS web site and can be downloaded by clicking here.
The uClinux kernel: While the system utilizes a processor core from Hyperstone, the DS600 runs a uClinux port which is highly adapted to our system. A complete package of the uClinux kernel (2.4.x) along with the appropriate drivers (e.g. H.264) can be downloaded from here (~30MB).
